Description:

This course is designed for Muslim women worldwide who are seeking to understand and transform their relationship with anger. Through a compassionate and grounded approach, participants will explore anger as a multifaceted emotion—how it manifests in the body, mind, and soul—and examine its roots from both Western psychological frameworks and Islamic teachings.

Developed in collaboration with The Luminous Mind, the course is anchored in the Qur’an and Sunnah and guides students through introspective and experiential activities, helping each woman uncover how her unique life experiences shape her expression of anger. Participants will take a personalized anger profile quiz, engage in reflective exercises, and learn practical tools for managing and resolving anger in healthy, faith-aligned ways.

By the end of the course, students will feel empowered to approach anger not with fear or shame, but with insight and strength—transforming it from a source of internal struggle into a catalyst for spiritual and emotional growth.

The Luminous Mind is a mental health clinic located in Roseville Minnesota that is dedicated to empowering community through the delivery of strength-based, culturally-responsive, professional services through a de-colonized lens. Appreciating the courage that it takes to seek help in the midst of struggle, clients are treated with respect and dignity and providers assume that clients want to recover and that they are experts in themselves and their experiences.
