Description:

In today’s world, Muslim mothers are navigating a complex landscape — striving to raise emotionally intelligent children while holding fast to their faith and values. This course offers guidance, support, and clarity for mothers seeking to nurture self-aware, resilient, and spiritually grounded children.

Students will learn how to foster emotional intelligence in their children through Islamic principles and psychological insight. Together, we will explore the impact of generational trauma, recognize common parenting pitfalls, and learn how to repair emotional ruptures with compassion and accountability. The course will also help mothers untangle inherited parenting habits and replace them with intentional, value-driven practices rooted in mercy and connection.

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

  • Understand the key components of emotional intelligence from both Islamic and psychological perspectives
  • Identify and address their own emotional patterns that influence parenting
  • Model emotional regulation and repair in the home
  • Develop a clear parenting vision guided by Islamic values and child development research
  • Implement practical strategies for raising emotionally attuned, confident, and faith-filled children

This course is more than just what not to do — it is about parenting with presence, purpose, and love.
