This course continues the study of Islamic creed (ʿaqīda), focusing on the concept of prophethood in Islam, the unseen world, and the realities of the Day of Judgment. Students will explore the essential role and characteristics of prophets, the nature of divine revelation, and the distinguishing signs of true prophethood. The curriculum delves into the unseen world in Islam, including the roles of angels, jinn, and the Divine decree (qadar). The course concludes with a comprehensive look at Islamic beliefs about death, resurrection, accountability, and the afterlife. Through a blend of classical and contemporary readings, students will develop a strong understanding of these foundational Islamic beliefs, deepening their faith and enhancing their spiritual growth in daily life.
