Arabic Intermediate Middle 2

Course Description:

Arabic Intermediate Middle 2 is the second module in the Intermediate Middle band, focusing on a comprehensive study of the 10 Arabic verb forms. Students will learn to recognize, construct, and infer the meanings of each verb form, while applying various tenses and moods.

This module enhances students’ ability to look up and translate words using an Arabic root dictionary, significantly expanding their Arabic vocabulary and translation skills.

Course Prerequisites:

• Students should be women above the age of 17.
• Arabic Intermediate Middle 1 or equivalent knowledge.

Placement:

Course Requirements:

Students are expected to attend 2 online classes each week, complete weekly assignments, submit a personal project and a final exam.

Arabic Program Policies

Live attendance is recommended whenever possible for the best learning experience. Recordings of the sessions will be made available for registered students who cannot attend live. Students will have access to course forums, recordings, and files until May 31st, 2026.

This is an online course so students will need:

• Access to internet with an internet speed of at least 2 Mbps recommended for best performance.
• Headphones, camera and microphone may be required for in-class participation.
• To access the live class and recordings, students will need a computer, smartphone, or tablet/iPad with the Zoom app.
