Course Description:

This is the final module of the Intermediate Middle band. In this level, students will expand their knowledge of nominal and verbal sentence construction and translation by covering particles, and active and passive participles, adverbs, relative pronouns, and be introduced to passive verbs. They will explore the topic of geography, learning how to talk about different cultures and parts of the world using vocabulary found in classical/ liturgical as well as more modern texts.

Course Prerequisites:

  • Students should be women above the age of 17.
  • Arabic Intermediate Middle 2 or equivalent knowledge.
Placement:

Course Requirements:

Students are expected to attend 2 online classes each week, complete weekly assignments, submit a personal project and a final exam.

Live attendance is recommended whenever possible for the best learning experience. Recordings of the sessions will be made available for registered students who cannot attend live. Students will have access to course forums, recordings, and files until May 31st ,2025

Please note that daylight savings time will begin in the United States on Sunday, March 9, 2025. Depending on where you live, this may or may not affect your class timing. In countries where DST is not applied at all, class will be one hour earlier starting March 9.

  • To access the live class and recordings, students will need a computer, smartphone, or tablet/iPad with the Zoom app.
