Arabic Advanced Beginner 3

Course Description:

This is the third module of the Advanced Beginner level. In this module, learners will review, consolidate, and expand their grammatical knowledge of syntax and morphology through the reading, translation, and analysis of classical and authentic texts.

Course Prerequisites:

• Students should be women above the age of 17.
• Arabic Advanced Beginner 2 or equivalent knowledge.

Placement: 

If this is your first Arabic course at Ribaat, you are required to submit a placement test. Click here for the Arabic Placement test.

Course Requirements:

Students are expected to attend 2 online classes each week, complete weekly assignments, submit a personal project and a final exam.

Live attendance is recommended whenever possible for the best learning experience. Recordings of the sessions will be made available for registered students who cannot attend live. Students will have access to course forums, recordings, and files until December 31, 2025.

Arabic Program Policies

This is an online course so students will need:

• Access to internet with an internet speed of at least 2 Mbps recommended for best performance.
• Headphones, camera and microphone may be required for in-class participation.
• To access the live class and recordings, students will need a computer, smartphone, or tablet/iPad with the Zoom app.
