Sarah Ali found her way to Rabata in 2016, after completing some degree work in Business Administration, inspiring a pivot in her life. Over the past 8 years, she has been dedicated to the self work that Anse Dr. Tamara Gray and the other Anisaat have inspired. Through it, she has committed herself to fostering community, locally and digitally, rooted in the deep love that they have taught and demonstrated to their students.

Born in Saudi Arabia and raised in Houston, Texas, Sarah now lives in Lasalle, Ontario, Canada with her husband and three children. Sarah has been helping at Rabata in various capacities throughout her time, from serving as an admin for classes, to supporting students, to assisting at Masjid Rabata programming, being an affiliate lead for the Windsor Chapter, and to meeting with new volunteers online. Her capacity to see the talents in everyone around her have made her incredibly effective at channeling the volunteers’ energy. In addition, Sarah is currently homeschooling two of her children and is a talented photographer.
