Arwa Ghabra currently serves as a pharmacist. In 2010, she graduated from West Virginia University School of Pharmacy. She also received her ijāza in Quranic Recitation in 2007 from Shaykh Al Kurdi (may Allah have mercy on him).

Born to Syrian parents, Arwa grew up in the small southern town of Princeton, West Virginia, and was blessed to spend most of her childhood summers in Damascus, Syria. When there, she studied Arabic, Tajwīd, Fiqh, Hadīth and Islamic History. She began her Ribaat learning journey in 2012 shortly after the birth of her son.

The Ribaat program allowed Arwa to continue her journey of Islamic learning while raising her two young children. She also volunteers in the Ribaat Tajwīd, RabaTEENS, and Halaqāt programs. She currently resides in Elkridge, Maryland where she works as a pharmacist with her husband and two children and leads the Rabata Maryland Chapter.
