Course Description:

Arabic Intermediate Middle 3 is the final module in the Intermediate Middle band, advancing students’ skills in constructing and translating both nominal and verbal sentences. The course covers Arabic particles, active and passive participles, adverbs, relative pronouns, and introduces passive verbs. Students will also explore geography and cultural topics, learning vocabulary to discuss different cultures and regions of the world using both classical and modern Arabic texts.

  • Relative pronouns

Course Prerequisites:

  • Students should be women above the age of 17.
  • Arabic Intermediate Middle 2 or equivalent knowledge.

Course Requirements:

Students are expected to attend 2 online classes each week, complete weekly assignments, submit a personal project and a final exam.

Live attendance is recommended whenever possible for the best learning experience. Recordings of the sessions will be made available for registered students who cannot attend live. Students will have access to course forums, recordings, and files until May 31st, 2026.

This is an online course so students will need:

  • Access to internet with an internet speed of at least 2 Mbps recommended for best performance.
  • Headphones, camera and microphone may be required for in-class participation.
  • To access the live class and recordings, students will need a computer, smartphone, or tablet/iPad with the Zoom app.
