This course offers a meaningful journey into the tafsir of the Qur’an, guiding students through a selected surah or group of surahs each term. With tafsir in English taught by an instructor grounded in traditional scholarship, students gain deeper insight into the layered meanings of the verses and learn how they apply to modern-day life.
Emphasising both understanding the Qur’an and personal reflection, the course highlights the rich legacy of women’s Qur’anic scholarship while helping students draw practical, transformative lessons. Participants strengthen their connection to Allah ﷻ and develop a more intimate relationship with His words.
Students should be women above the age of 17.
Live attendance is recommended whenever possible for the best learning experience. Recordings of the sessions will be made available for registered students who cannot attend live. Students will have access to course forums, recordings, and files until May 31st, 2026.
