Description:

This course delves into the concept of divine laws as illuminated in the Quran and Sunnah, focusing particularly on the law of victory and empowerment. We will explore other divine laws, such as those of beautification, gradual entrapment, retribution, and trials and tribulations, reflecting on their relevance to the events around us. Through these divine laws, we will reflect on the current events in Gaza, drawing on lessons and wisdom that can help us navigate the trials faced by the Ummah today. Together, we will seek to deepen our understanding of divine guidance, gaining insights and put our trust in Allah.

The course will include 5 sessions:

Introduction.

  • Understanding the meaning of divine laws.
  • The importance of knowing divine laws.
  • Recognizing the nature and characteristics of divine laws.

Divine Laws in the Quran and Sunnah.

  • Exploring Quranic verses that mention divine laws.
  • Examining examples of divine laws within the life of the Prophet.
  • knowing examples of divine laws such as:  The divine law of the ongoing struggle between truth and falsehood, and the divine law of respite and delay.

The Sunnah of Victory and Empowerment.

  • Explore the meaning of the sunnah of victory and empowerment. 
  • Current Events in Gaza: An Example of Divine Laws
  • Reflecting on lessons and insights drawn from this context.

The law of trials and tribulations.

  • The divine law of testing with both good and bad
