Dr. Nida Rashid is an Emergency Medicine Resident turned Clinical Psychologist in training. In addition to her completing her medical studies, she obtained a certificate in Topics in Human Behavior from Harvard University.

From Pakistani-heritage, Dr. Nida was born and raised in the UAE where she completed her medical training at the Dubai Medical College. She later joined the Emergency Medicine residency program at one of the leading trauma centers in the region. An international move to the USA and an epiphany later, she decided to change gears with her career and recently completed her Masters in Psychology at the Harvard Extension School of Harvard University.

Dr. Nida is currently in the process of developing a holistic wellness program for Muslim women rooted in prophetic traditions and informed by her background in medicine, psychology, and Islamic Studies. She is on the path to launch a holistic wellness program on her coaching platform, The Iqra Mindset. My vision is to help Muslim women heal, thrive, and reconnect with Allah through spiritually-anchored wellness practices.

She hopes that she can combine her knowledge of Psychology and Islamic Studies with her experiences as a physician to benefit the Muslim medical community. In addition to continuing her studies with Ribaat, Dr. Nida initiated volunteering with Rabata in 2023 and finds it very fulfilling. She is a mother of two girls and a boy, and she loves to read and cook food for family and friends in her free time.
